Fall protection is the 2nd highest reason for OSHA citations in 2009. This class will Include fall protection for aerial lifts, scaffolds, and ladders. Improper scaffolding and aerial lift procedures in construction continue to be one of the leading causes of lost time, accidents and fatalities. Designed to provide safety personnel with skills necessary to eliminate these types of accidents, this course will prepare attendees to reduce accident and liability costs and increase compliance with OSHA and other regulatory safety requirements. While ladders and scaffolding and aerial lifts are common objects on a construction site, they are also a common cause of injuries and accidents. In this class, participants will learn to identify, safely set up, and properly use various types of ladders and scaffolding and lifts.
