Courses present the materials, methods and procedures used in the construction of buildings in relation to building codes and zoning requirements. Topics covered include: Regulatory Factors in Building; Organization and Enforcement; Permits and Inspections; Requirement based on Occupancy, Requirements Based on Types of Construction; Basic Engineering Regulations, Fire Standards and Protection, Public Streets and Property; and other related Building Code Standards.

At the end of each class, participants will:

•     Understand the basics of Mechanical, Plumbing and/or Fuel Gas Codes and Standards
