This training will assist individuals who want to become familiar with LEED® and are seeking foundational knowledge. The workshop will give the attendee the ability to understand green building and the application of sustainability in the marketplace, understand and enforce the core concepts and construction principles behind sustainable buildings, integrate green practices and strategies into construction processes and, become knowledgeable enough about the LEED® rating system to apply it to their particular field of endeavor. Attendees will also receive a general knowledge of several industry rating systems, with a focus on the LEED® rating system, process, credit outlines and intents, reference standards and requirements.
