Objective - This workshop will provide business owners and supervisors, including safety managers and HR professionals with fundamental training on addressing substance abuse in the workplaces. The key learning objectives are:
- Sharpen observational skills as supervisors
- How to document suspicion of substance abuse
- Review strategies for avoiding confrontation
- Communicate suspicion to the employee and refer to Testing
This seminar meets with the U.S. Department of Transportation guidelines and Non-Federal Training Standards. It is recommended for employers who must comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.
