The Delaware Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors is pleased to announce its annual "Excellence in Construction" awards competition. This is an opportunity to have your project's join other Merit Shop projects and be recognized by ABC as the "Best of the Best" in the construction industry.
This competition is intended to create a greater awareness in the State of Delaware of the quantity and quality of work being produced by members of ABC Delaware and to continue to raise the standards throughout the construction industry.
In GC /CM under 2 million, honorable mention goes to Ehret Construction for Gulph Mills Golf Club Renovation.
In GC/CM 2 to 5 million, honorable mention is presented to MIKEN Builders for Rockford Center Bed Addition and Emory Hill and Company for The Goodwill Center.
In the GC/CM over 10 million three honorable mention awards are presented to…E-D-I-S Company for the St. George’s Technical High School

In site/civil category 5-10 million the merit is presented to George and Lynch for Meadowview Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Paul A. Nickle is awarded a merit in electrical under 2 million for Johnny Janosik World of Furniture.
In the mechanical 2-10 million category there was a tie for merit. Delcard Associates received a merit for the University of Delaware Independence Complex.
J.F. Sobieski is presented a merit for the Barclay Dryrock Building.
In the GC/CM under 2 million category, MIKEN Builders is awarded a merit for Hercules Film Coating.
In GC/CM 2-5 million there was a tie for merit. DiSabatino Construction is awarded a merit for the West Quaker Hill Apartments Renovation.
A merit also goes to SC&A Construction for Vicmead Hunt Club Clubhouse.
Wohlsen Construction is awarded a merit in the GC/CM 5-10 million category for the Woodlawn Library.
In the GC/CM over 10 million category there was a tie for merit. Bancroft Construction is presented a merit for the Talley Middle School.

In specialty contractors carpentry category, Rockford Cabinet and Millwork is awarded an excellence for Dade Behring.
Color Works is presented with an excellence in the specialty trade coatings category for the V-A-M-C Pedestrian Bridge.
An excellence is presented to Eastern Industrial Services in specialty trade insulation for the Christiana Hospital 2010 project.
In the specialty trade pipe processing category M. Davis & Sons is awarded an excellence for the Vinci R & D Building at Air Liquid.
Tri-State The Roofers is awarded an excellence in the special trade roofing category for Wrangle Hill Elementary School.
In specialty trade sheetmetal, Quality Heating & Air Conditioning is awarded an excellence for the Christiana Hospital 2010 Project.
