STUDENT

Student awards presented by ABC Careers Committee

The ABC Careers in Construction Committee presented its annual student awards at the our April dinner meeting. These awards are given on annual basis to a student enrolled in the construction trade curriculum that has shown outstanding academic achievement and completed a successful co-op program with an ABC Member.  Each individual receives a toolbox and a gift certificate for $250 to a local supply house for them to purchase tools that can help them get started with their career in the construction industry.

An award is given to a student at Howard and St. Georges and to two students in Delcastle and Hodgson. The number of students from each school is determined by the total students enrolled in the construction trades at each high school. ABC congratulates the winners of these awards and wishes them continued success in their future.
