STEP 
Safety Training and Evaluation Process Awards


ABC Delaware is pleased to honor its members who received the 2006 ABC National Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) Award.

“The STEP award program provides a number of benefits,” said ABC Delaware President Ed Capodanno. “First, it provides an organized approach to analyze and further develop your company’s safety and loss prevention program. Second, it provides a vital, objective method to measure safety program improvements. And third, it provides your company with safety performance recognition that can be used as an important business development tool with clients.

“Step award certificates are given at the bronze, silver, gold and platinum levels. The Platinum award receives special recognition and qualifies that company to take advantage of the ABC/OSHA partnership,” said Capodanno.

In 2007, ABC Delaware had 32 companies win the STEP award.
