ABC September Networking held at Clayton Hall
The ABC Delaware Monthly Membership Meeting was a networking night held at the University of Delaware's Clayton Hall. More than 150 members turned out for the evening, which began with a New Member Reception, hosted by the New Member Involvement Committee.
"The New Member Reception (pictured above) is a short orientation following by talks from current members on getting the best out of ABC Delaware," said Committee Chair Joanne Clark (standing left). "Having the reception before one of our networking nights or dinner meetings really helps the new member meet a few people before getting into one of our regular meetings. Many new members have shared with me this orientation before a meeting really made them feel welcome and better prepared to meet the membership at large."

Golfers turn out en force for July outing at Delaware National

as the 50/50 winner at the outing July 17. The take was $1,370.
It was a hot July day, but not too hot for 170 golfers at Delaware National Country Club to participate in the annual ABC Delaware Golf Outing. There were three hole-on-one contests sponsored by Bayshore Ford, Porter Auto Group and Williams Scottsman, which sad to say no one one, traditional skill contests and door prizes galore for the event.
"Special thanks to Jerry DiEleuterio for all his hard work in gathering the great prizes and all the sponsorship, which helped make the event a great day," said ABC President Ed Capodanno. "Jerry and his committee, Frank Dobson, Frank Francica and Renee Ridenour spent many hours working to make things happen. By all accounts, the golfers had a super day!"

Winners for the day included the Yale Electric group in first with 56; SC & A Construction in second with 58 and Nickle Electrical in third with a 61. Hole contest winners included Sue Garson, Mike Lesando, Heather Wright, Steve Calvarese, Jeff Vickers and Jamie Hershey.
