ABC Delaware 2025 Young Professional of the Year

Shaquille Turner of Willow Construction is the winner of the 2025 Young Professional of the year. The winner is chosen based on strong leadership skills, strong teamwork and a strong sense of integrity. The person selected will also have rendered outstanding service to ABC Delaware, their company and their community.
Shaquille has been an active member of ABC Delaware for a number of years and currently serves on the ABCares, Legislative & Legal Rights and Young Professionals committees. He is eager to support ABC at many events such as the crab feast, networking nights, and the planning conference. He is always willing to help promote ABC Delaware and has become involved in the political arena by joining us for visits to Legislative Hall, discussing issues with local politicians.
Willow Construction is proud to sponsor ABC events. The company has taken part in ABCares events and donated material and supplies when requested.
Shaquile is also the driving force behind the Young Professionals social media campaign, highlighting committee members and their career journeys.
Shaquille actively serves his community through a variety of civic and charitable efforts. He has been a mentor with the ACE Mentoring Program of Maryland’s Eastern Shore and is a member of the Talbot County Chamber of Commerce. Through ABC Delaware’s ABCares, he has participated in events including food drives, highway cleanups, autism awareness walks, and youth-focused holiday programs. He volunteers with For All Seasons and supports career development initiatives through the Careers in Construction Committee. Shaquille also actively promotes and participates in young professional development programs throughout the construction industry and his local community.
Shaquille and Willow Construction have been active in our association through committee involvement, event sponsorship and community service projects. With his passion, determination and drive, Shaquille truly deserves our Young Professional of Year award.
